Iranians - Nadia Alexandra Bjorlin

Nadia Alexandra Bjorlin:

Nadia Alexandra Bjorlin (born August 2, 1980) is a Iranian/Swedish/American actress and singer. Björlin was born in Newport, Rhode Island but lived in Sweden until the age of 7. Her father was the Swedish composer and conductor Mats Ulf Stefan Björlin. Her mother, Fary (née Dadashi), is Persian.

Björlin speaks English, Swedish, and Persian. When her family moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, she attended the Palm Beach County School of the Arts (now Dreyfoos School of the Arts) along with her brothers Ulf and Jean Paul, where she excelled in music and theater. All three siblings work in show business.

Björlin placed third in the 1998 Miss Florida Teen USA pageant.

Aahoo Jahansouz "Sarah" Shahi, born January 10, 1980, is an American actress. Sarah Shahi was born and grew up in Euless, Texas. She has an Iranian father, Abbas Shahi, and a Spanish mother, known as Mahmonir, who was an interior designer. Her father's family left their homeland two years before the Iranian Revolution. Her birthname is Ahoo.

Shahi adopted Sarah as her name in second grade after hearing the song "Sarah" because she was "tormented" by other children. At her father's behest she grew up speaking Persian, as well as English. She's the great-great-granddaughter of Fat′h-Ali Shah Qajar of the Qajar Dynasty, who ruled Iran from 1797-1834.
